ABOUT

Our 2018 BMW X1 in Estoril Blue, dressed in an M-sport package, lowered, with custom modifications, is nicknamed “The Bruiser” due to it’s black and blue colour and mean looking BMW CUV styling. In the partnership between father and son, the son leads the way on tech and mods, while the father provides creative direction and produces digital imagery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a BMW X1?

A BMW X1 is an amazing combination of an AWD vehicle and luxury car. It is in the subcompact luxury crossover class and we needed a vehicle that would be good in the snow, good on gas, yet satisfy our need for performance and style.

How much does The Bruiser cost?

We took a small budget approach to this car project. Yet, being a BMW, there are few things that come with what we call the “BMW tax”. Parts and labour from both dealerships and national shops comes at a price. Fortunately, there are many exceptional small specialist shops that have helped us along the way and local BMW dealerships tend to be really good even if a bit expensive.

Where does BMW Bruiser reside?

The BMW Bruiser resides in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. We make the occasional trip to Toronto and are hoping to explore more of the open road in the months and years to come.

Other than the Bruiser, what are other favourite cars?

This exquisite compilation showcases a diverse array of photographs that capture the essence of different eras and cultures, reflecting the unique styles and perspectives of each artist.
